•    Design Resource:            
  • Use Simplify 3D for slicing.  Cura can have issues with some printers, but I have never seen or heard of printer issues with Simplify3D.  
    • Save your 3D file as a .stl and import
    • Personal copies are $200-ish for home use.
  • Thingiverse is a great resource for designs and widgets that others have made.

  • I really like Octoprint for a 3D print server – it will not work with any of the Dremel units though.

  • Atomic Filaments: PETG
  • Taulman Filaments | PET, PETT, Nylon
  • NinjaFlex Filaments | TPE
  • MatterHackers NylonX | Carbon Fiber
  • I and some of the makers I know have had really bad luck printing with ColorFabb Material on a Creativity, a Lutzbot, a Makerbot and a Creality – with and without heated bed.  IT seems that there are layer bonding issues and it globs up on the Dremal and MakeBot nozzles.
